First Flight

Part of First Light presents LONGEST DAYS OF SUMMER

The First Flight project celebrates Lowestoft's most easterly location as the first UK landing point for a variety of migrating birds from across the world. In partnership with Suffolk Wildlife Trust this visual arts project invites local artists to let their imaginations fly creating bird boxes for the Lowestoft Heritage Action Zones and raising awareness of bird habitats in an urban context.

Bird Boxes by the artists listed below can be seen at the following locations from the 17th June: 1. Triangle Market 2 & 3. Various points along the High Street 4.
